American tennis player Jenson Brooksby
has advanced to the second round of the Australian Open after winning his first round match against Belgian player Ruben Bemelmans on Monday.
Brooksby, who is ranked 235th in the world, defeated Bemelmans in a three-set match, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4. The 22-year-old American showed great resilience and determination throughout the match, coming back from a 2-4 deficit in the final set to secure the victory.
